| 2012-03-30 | BNSS cadaver workshop "Lumbar Spine Instrumentation", Liège | | On Friday, March 30th 2012, the Belgian Neurosurgical Spine Society (BNSS), as a section of the Belgian Society of Neurosurgery (BSN), organizes a cadaver workshop for residents. Subject will be the “Non-Minimally Invasive Anterior and Posterior Instrumentation of the Lumbar Spine”. The goal is to contribute to the education in spine surgery by enabling residents to practice several techniques on cadavers. The workshop is open to all Belgian residents in neurosurgery and will be free of charge for residents. The program will consist of short theoretical presentations followed by hands-on training (final program will be announced later). The workshop is organized in collaboration with the industry and will take place at the University of Liège. This opportunity to learn and practice under the supervision of experienced staff is highly recommended.
Residents are requested to register by sending an email to bart.depreitere@uzleuven.be or to his secretary Isabelle, isabelle.vanhoof@uzleuven.be . Registration will be open up to February 29th 2012. However, the sooner we get some idea of the number of participants, the easier the organization.
